Nvidia’s Senior Research Manager Jim Fan highlighted the potential for AI and robotics to assist firefighting efforts, particularly in combating wildfires. He emphasized that robots, capable of enduring hazardous conditions and carrying heavy loads, could revolutionize disaster recovery and firefighting operations.

Hisense emphasized AI’s role in making technology more intuitive and impactful in everyday life.

Department of Homeland Security released a new AI playbook to modernize the U.S. immigration system. The plan focuses on seven key areas: developing AI applications, building partnerships, and implementing responsible AI safeguards. Initial AI implementations in 2024 have already shown promising results, with one system doubling the rate of 30-day application processing.
